Historical designs explanation: - The image of a snake fighting a dragon on the masthead of the Massachusetts Spy, a colonial newspaper, symbolized the American colonies' struggle against British rule. The snake, often used as a symbol of the colonies and their desire for independence, is seen combating the dragon, which represented the British monarchy and its oppressive policies. This imagery reflected the growing tensions between the colonies and Britain in the years leading up to the American Revolution, and was a powerful visual representation of the colonial desire for freedom and self-determination. The Massachusetts Spy was known for its strong patriotic stance and played a key role in disseminating revolutionary ideas and news throughout the colonies. - The six-pointed star associated with General George Washington is sometimes referred to as the "Washington star." This star was used as a symbol of his leadership during the American Revolutionary War. Thirteen six-pointed stars (representing the thirteen original American colonies) were sewn on his headquarters flag, known as the Commander-in-Chief standard, that noted his presence on the battlefield. The star has since been adopted to represent Washington's legacy and contributions to American history. Disher Music Gear is a family-operated small business located in Michigan, USA.
